He’s an incredible guy. Firstly, he is amazingly cool-headed. Incredible self-control. In rain or hail, with some incredible disaster threatening, on the very edge of the void, he is always extremely calm and focused. His past experience is unusual : he has made films in France, then left for the USA where he now lives and where he has learnt a great deal. And now, he has come back with that same unusual world of his in which fantasy has such an important place. It’s like a new departure... René is someone who is extremely precise, who knows exactly where he’s going.
